Chris, one of the principal owners of Assured Mortgage Solutions, has been in the Mortgage Industry for over 8 years. Prior to beginning his mortgage career Chris spent two years selling real estate for a well recognized real estate company in York County. Being a Realtor was a great learning experience for Chris, he most enjoyed helping first-time home buyers purchase homes. However, Chris found after a few years that he wanted increase his chances to get more people get into new homes, so he felt the best way to do that was by making the change into the Mortgage Industry. Chris mentions, “ I liked running around with people finding them homes. However, at the end of the day, I felt I enjoyed working numbers more than the driving and searching home inventory that the real estate side requires. Moving my career to the mortgage side was a natural because it gave me that great feeling helping people achieve home ownership. And, because I enjoyed the numbers side of transactions, doing the mortgage for people became the better scenario for me professionally.” Along with the exciting professional change came an unexpected personal change shortly after this decisions. A few weeks after accepting a position with a well established local mortgage company , he received the exciting news that he was going to become a father. That’s when Chris knew he need to make this career change work and only a few short years later he had become a top producer within the company. After years of continually producing top numbers, Chris made the decision that it would be a great time to branch out on his own. It was at that time that Chris and his two partners established Assured Mortgage Solutions. The company has been thriving in what many would say is the most challenging lending market ever.
Chris specializes in many types of loans: FHA, VA, Conventional, and Rural Housing. But of all the many types of loans Chris originates, he most enjoys helping first-time home buyers achieve home ownership.
Chris resides in Biddeford with his daughter Hailey, the love of his life. In his free time he likes to keep active by playing basketball, golfing, and skiing. He also enjoys reading and watching the Celtics, Red Sox, and Patriots.
